Privacy Policy
Private by design.
1. Scope
This policy explains how the LinkRouter iPhone and iPad app, its Safari Web Extension, this website, and support email handle information. “Developer” means the independent developer of LinkRouter.
2. Information the app does not collect
The app and extension do not transmit personal information or browsing activity to the developer. They do not use a developer-operated account system, backend, analytics service, advertising service, tracking technology, or crash-reporting SDK.
In particular, the developer does not receive your:
- Safari page addresses, domains, or browsing history;
- enabled routes or selected destination apps;
- list of installed apps;
- location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or clipboard contents; or
- advertising identifiers or analytics events.
3. Information processed and stored on your device
After you enable the Safari extension and grant website access, LinkRouter examines the current page address locally to see whether it matches a route you enabled. The address is passed only between the Safari extension and the LinkRouter extension process on the same device for that routing decision.
LinkRouter stores the following app-functionality data in its shared App Group container:
- route identifiers, selected destination identifiers, enabled status, and update timestamps;
- configuration schema, revision, and update metadata; and
- the minimum verified LinkRouter Unlimited entitlement snapshot, including product and transaction identifiers and verification status.
To reduce return-to-Safari loops, the content script also stores a hash-derived marker and timestamp in the current Safari page session for about 15 seconds. The marker is page-local, short-lived, and is not sent to the developer.
4. App Store purchases
LinkRouter Unlimited is a non-consumable in-app purchase processed by Apple. LinkRouter uses StoreKit to request product information, verify entitlement status, restore purchases, and respond to refunds or revocations. The developer does not operate a purchase server and does not receive your payment-card details. Apple handles App Store purchase information under Apple’s Privacy Policy.
5. Safari and destination services
Safari, the source website, the App Store, and any destination app or service operate independently under their own terms and privacy policies. When a supported link is handed off, the destination receives the information contained in that link through the normal system link-opening process. LinkRouter and its developer do not receive data back from the destination service.
6. This website
This static website does not use cookies, forms, analytics, advertising, web fonts, or tracking scripts. Like any website, it must be delivered by a hosting provider. Your browser necessarily sends technical request data such as an IP address, requested path, user-agent information, and timestamps to that provider. The developer does not add tracking to that traffic or use it to build user profiles. The hosting provider’s own policy applies to its infrastructure processing.
7. Support email
If you email support, the developer receives your email address and the information you voluntarily include, such as device model, operating-system version, app version, screenshots, or a sample link. This information is used only to answer your request and troubleshoot the issue. Do not send passwords, private links, personal addresses, payment details, or other sensitive information.
Support messages are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, maintain the related support record, or comply with law. You may request deletion of a support conversation by emailing gh111133@163.com.
8. Sale, sharing, and tracking
The developer does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or track you across apps or websites. LinkRouter contains no advertising SDK.
9. Your choices
- Disable any route in LinkRouter at any time.
- Disable the LinkRouter extension or change its website access in Safari settings.
- Remove LinkRouter from your device to stop the app and extension from operating.
- Contact the developer about information you sent by support email.
Because the app does not send app or browsing data to a developer-operated system, the developer has no corresponding server-side app-data record to access, export, or delete.
10. Children’s privacy
LinkRouter does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app’s no-account, no-analytics, and no-advertising design applies to all users.
11. Changes to this policy
If LinkRouter’s data practices change, this policy will be updated and the effective date will be revised. The App Store privacy disclosures will also be re-evaluated before a changed version is submitted.
