1. Agreement
These Terms of Use apply to LinkRouter, including its iPhone and iPad app and Safari Web Extension. By downloading or using LinkRouter, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Your license to the app is also governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement unless a different license is presented in the App Store. If these terms conflict with that license, the Apple license controls to the extent of the conflict.
2. What LinkRouter does
LinkRouter lets you configure supported Safari links to hand off to a selected destination app. Routing depends on the installed LinkRouter version, the specific link type, Safari permissions, operating-system behavior, destination-app availability, and the destination app’s own link support.
When LinkRouter cannot confidently match or open a link, it is designed to leave the original page usable in Safari. This fail-open behavior reduces risk but does not guarantee that every site or destination app will behave consistently.
3. Supported routes and third-party services
A researched app, website, URL scheme, or Universal Link is not necessarily a production-supported LinkRouter route. Supported routes can be added, narrowed, corrected, or removed when third-party behavior changes or when continued safe operation cannot be verified.
LinkRouter is independent software and is not affiliated with Apple or any destination app, service, or website. Third-party names may be used only to describe compatibility. The developer does not control third-party availability, content, policies, or link behavior.
4. Free use and LinkRouter Unlimited
Without LinkRouter Unlimited, one supported route may be active at a time and that route has no usage-count limit. LinkRouter Unlimited is a one-time, non-consumable App Store purchase that enables additional active routes. It is not a subscription.
The App Store supplies localized price and availability. Apple processes payment, restoration, billing, and refund requests. A refunded, revoked, unverified, or otherwise unavailable entitlement may no longer unlock Unlimited routes. When Unlimited access is lost, LinkRouter applies the free-route limit to local configuration.
5. Acceptable use
You may use LinkRouter only in compliance with applicable law and the terms of the websites and apps you choose to open. You may not attempt to reverse engineer the app except where applicable law expressly permits it, interfere with its security or fail-open protections, or use it to facilitate unlawful access or activity.
6. Privacy
LinkRouter’s handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy. The app is designed without developer-operated accounts, analytics, advertising, or uploaded browsing history.
7. Availability and changes
LinkRouter may be updated to maintain compatibility, improve safety, change supported routes, or comply with platform requirements. The developer may discontinue the app or a route where continued operation is no longer practical or safe. Any change to a paid entitlement remains subject to applicable law and App Store requirements.
8. Warranty and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, LinkRouter is provided “as is” and “as available.” The developer does not promise uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every website or app, or a successful handoff for every link. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, warranties, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Changes to these terms
If these terms materially change, the effective date will be updated. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms, except where applicable law requires another form of notice or consent.
